Details of the recipe
- Easy to make
- Just throw all ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend well.
- I used one can of chickpeas (garbanzo beans).
- I use cashew butter, if you prefer, you can use any kind of nut butter you have on hand.
- This stays well in an air-tight container for up to a week.
- Before serving, bring it back to room temperature and stir well for best results.

Chocolate Dessert Hummus
Equipment
- High Speed Blender or Food Processor
Ingredients
- 1 14.5 oz can chickpeas (garbanzo beans) rinsed and drained
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 Tbsp coconut oil
- 1 Tbsp cashew butter
- 1 Tbsp tahini
- 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch sea salt
Instructions
- Add all ingredients into the blender and blend well. Scrape down the sides as needed.
- If serving right away, enjoy. Leftovers may be stored in an air tight container in the fridge for up to one week.
