What do you bring to parties or get togethers?

For me it always varies but I enjoy bringing veggies and some sort of dip or a dessert.  Usually because they are both easy to travel with and don’t require an oven when I get to the guest homes.  Am I right or what?!

Before my non-dairy days I remember eating some kind of roasted red pepper dip that was delicious BUT was loaded with cream cheese.  I knew I could make something that was similar but without the animal protein and fat.

THAT my friend is what we have here.

This dip is healthy, easy to make, and is packed with plant-based protein from the chickpeas and hemp seeds.  BUT most importantly it tastes amazing!

You better believe this is now what I will be bringing to parties!

Details on this dish:

1. I used a jar of roasted red peppers from Trader Joes but whatever brand you have will work.

2. If you are in the mood to roast your own pepper- be my guest.  I opt for the time saver method but using one roasted pepper will work for this dish.

3. Do you love garlic?  Fell free to add more.  YUM!

4. I suggest refrigerating overnight before serving to help it firm up a bit but if crunched for time, you can make this dip and serve immediately.  It may be a little more watery but still good.

What do you like to use as your dipping tool?  I love all veggies but am also a fan of Gluten free breadsticks and crackers.

Don’t limit this to just dip either.  It works fantastic as a pizza sauce, sandwich spread or salad dressing.  I have tried it in all of the above and approve.
