I had the idea of writing this post after the CoronaVirus pandemic hit and common grocery store items started to disappear.

All of a sudden rice, beans, pasta, bread, eggs, yeast, and even baking soda were gone. OR we were limited on how much we can buy. While I get it, it is also very frustrating. Especially when you are used to buying certain items and a certain quantity for your family.

I went to my favorite search engine and started to see what I could make myself. That led to me playing around with some recipes and here we are, 14 recipes you can easily make instead of buying at the store.

I then went to Facebook and found what others were looking for and discovered we all wanted the same thing for the most part.

Have you had issues finding some common things in the store too? Although things seem to be getting better, having recipes like this on hand are great for any situation.

Did you know you can make your own baking powder?! AND it is so easy with just a couple of ingredients!
